Dr Eloise Fry GPDr Eloise Fry – General Practitioner

I was born and raised in Whangarei, moving to study Medicine at Otago University and graduating from medical school in 2004. I have worked widely around the country in smaller centres, including Rotorua, Greymouth and Masterton.

I have been working as a GP since 2008 and completed my GP fellowship in 2012 at which time I joined the team at Wakefield Health Centre. I enjoy the wide variety of medicine I see in general practice with my main areas of interest including Women’s Health and Youth Health. I have completed a post graduate certificate in Women’s Health.

I am married to Mark Fry who is also a GP at Wakefield Health Centre. We have two boys Joshua born July 2013 and Benjamin born June 2015. They have taught us both a lot about being more understanding GPs!

I love the outdoors and am a very keen cyclist. I spent several years from 2008-2011 competing nationally in mountain-biking, and despite being a mum, still manage to find plenty of time to ride! (often with children in tow….)
